If you trade USDT on Indian P2P platforms — whether on Binance P2P, CoinDCX, or any other exchange — your profit depends on one simple thing: the spread between your buying rate and selling rate in INR. Calczia's USDT/INR P&L Calculator is built specifically for Indian P2P traders to compute this instantly.

This is one of the few crypto calculators in India that uses INR as the base currency, designed around how P2P trading actually works in India — not how it works in the US or Europe.

How P2P USDT Trading Works in India

In P2P trading, you buy USDT from sellers at a certain INR rate (say ₹84.50 per USDT) and sell it to buyers at a higher rate (say ₹85.20 per USDT). The difference — ₹0.70 per USDT — is your gross profit per unit.

On 1,000 USDT traded, that's ₹700 gross profit. But you also have transaction fees, payment gateway charges, and potentially TDS (1% on transactions above ₹10,000 under Section 194S). Our calculator accounts for all of this.

Inputs for the USDT P&L Calculator

  • Buy Rate: Rate at which you purchased USDT (₹ per USDT)
  • Sell Rate: Rate at which you sold USDT (₹ per USDT)
  • Quantity: Number of USDT traded
  • Platform Fee: Exchange/platform transaction fee %

Output: Gross profit, net profit, profit percentage, and break-even sell rate.

TDS on Crypto in India — What Traders Must Know

Under Section 194S of the Income Tax Act, a 1% TDS is deducted on crypto transactions exceeding ₹10,000 per transaction (or ₹50,000 per year for specified persons) by exchanges. For P2P traders, this affects net profitability and must be factored into every trade calculation.

Why Calczia for Crypto P&L?

Most crypto P&L tools online are built for international traders working in USD. Calczia is built from the ground up for INR-based P2P trading, with Indian regulatory context (TDS, platform fees on Binance P2P) baked in.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calculate profit on USDT P2P trading in India?

Profit = (Sell Rate – Buy Rate) × Quantity – Fees – TDS. Example: Buy at ₹84.50, sell at ₹85.20, 500 USDT → Gross profit = ₹0.70 × 500 = ₹350. Subtract platform fees and 1% TDS for net profit.

What is TDS on crypto trading in India?

Section 194S mandates 1% TDS on transfer of Virtual Digital Assets (VDAs including USDT) for transactions above ₹10,000. Exchanges deduct it at source.

What is a good spread for USDT P2P trading in India?

A spread of ₹0.50–₹1.50 per USDT is typical. After fees and TDS, a net margin of ₹0.30–₹0.80 per USDT is considered healthy for Indian P2P traders.
